PERSONNEL INTERVIEW

In this test you will be interviewed by interviewing officer for a period of about 30min to 1 hr. in this period various questions will be asked to you and you have to give the answer to these questions.

1. Tell me about you, your education, and the place from which you belong to.

2. Information about your parents, their educational qualification, occupation, income etc.

3. Your hobbies, games and sports that you play and participation in extracurricular activities.

4. Qualities in you, the qualities which you want to improve.

5. Tell the qualities of your father/mother/teacher/friends.

6. Compare your friend with you.

7. Why do you want to join army?

8. What is your pocket money? How do you spend it?

9. What kind of books you read?

10. Who is your best friend? Which friend you despise the most?

11. Who is your favourite teacher/worst teacher? Why?

12. Which is your favourite subject? Why? Also tell which subject you don’t like?

Other than this he may ask you some questions regarding to current affairs, general knowledge etc.
 
 
KEY POINTS ABOUT INTERVIEW
 

1. Dress well. Your attire should be formal and you must look like an officer.

2. Fill your PIQ well. Most of your interview will be from your PIQ only.

3. Be confident; always wear a smile on your face.

4. Shake hands properly and confidently with the interviewing officer he asks you to do so.

5. Sit straight. Maintain a good posture.

6. Don’t bluff. You have very high chances of getting caught.

7. Maintain a cool head. Listen the questions calmly, think over them and then answer them.

8. Don’t be in a rush.

9. If you don’t know something admit it. It’s better to say sorry rather than bluffing for what you don’t know.
