RANKS IN INDIAN AIRFORCE

The IAF's rank structure is based on that of the Royal Air Force. The highest rank attainable in the IAF is Marshal of the Indian Air Force, conferred by the President of India after exceptional service during wartime. MIAF Arjan Singh is the only officer to have achieved this rank. The head of the Indian Air Force is the Chief of the air staff, who holds the rank of Air Chief Marshal. The current Chief of the Air Staff is Air Chief Marshal N.A.K Brownie, appointed on May 1, 2009, following the retirement of Air Chief Marshal

SSCW(NON-TECH)-13, APR 2013 COURSE SSB CENTRE ALLOTEMENT

SSB centres have been for SSCW(NT)-13 Course, The course to commence in APR 2013 Have been uploaded. 1168 girls have been shortlisted for their interview at different SSB centres(Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore)
Out of the total no of girls 555 will have interview at ALLAHABAD, 363 will be interviewed at Bhopal and rest 219 will have interview at Bangalore.

SSCW (NT)-12 COURSE MERIT LIST

Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has uploaded the list of selected candidates for the SSC( NON-TECH) 12 course. The course will commence from 8 October 2013 in Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai. The selected candidates have to reach academy on 5 oct 2013. 78  women candidates have made place in the merit. However a few of them have been declared medically unfit or Their re-medical is yet to be declared.

MERIT LIST OF SSCW(NCC SPL ENTRY)-34 COURSE COMMENCING IN OCT 2013

Indian Army has published the list of Selected candidates for Short service Commission (NCC special entry)-34 course. The course will commence from Oct 2013. A total no of 22 candidates have made into the merit out of which 14 have been found medically fit while others are a awaiting their re-medical result. The course will commence from 8th October 2013 and the candidates are asked to reach academy on 5th oct. the selected candidates will undergo training of 49 weeks at Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai.

NDA/NA 131 SSB CENTRE LIST

The ssb centre list for NDA./NA –1 2013 exam( 131 batch i.e the course commencing from January 2013) has been uploaded. All the candidates who have cleared their written exam have been called for their interview. A total no of 8531 candidates have been finally shortlisted for their interview. The candidates have been allotted their SSB centre on the basis of the choice of service they have chose during submission of form.

WOMEN ENTRIES IN INDIAN ARMY

1991, was an important year in the history of Indian armed forces. It was this very year when women were first inducted into Indian army. Since then, more then 800 lady officers have been commissioned into short service commission of Indian army. However, women are still not given permanent commission but they can apply for various SSC entries

CDSE WRITTEN EXAM SYLLABUS

CDSE provide all graduates a chance to join any of three defence services as an officer after completion of their graduation. It is a very lucrative career and attracts the attention of lots of students all across the country. However to get a selection in it, you first need to clear the written exam and then the successful candidates are called for ssb in their respective boards. Then a final merit list is created and then candidates are commissioned in their respective forces.

NDA & NA –1 2013 WRITTEN RESULT

Written result for NDA/NA-1 2013 is out. These who have cleared their written result will be called for their interview. After the interview, a final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks that students have got in written exam plus the marks they have attained in the ssb interview.

CDSE-II 2013 MERIT LIST FOR OTA (SSC (NT)-98 AND SSCW (NT)-12) COURSE

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has uploaded the list of the successful candidates who have been selected for the SSC( NON – TECH)-98 and SSCW(NON-TECH)- 12 for which the training will start in Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai.

10+2 TES (TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME) SSB CENTRE ALLOTEMENT

10+2 TES an entry which give you an option to become a class-1 gazetted officer in the Technical branch of Indian Army. Once a candidate get recommended , he has to undergo 1 one year of basic training in OTA Gaya and then 4 years of B.Tech on the complete expenses by Indian army. This is a very attractive job and hence attract lots and lots of 10+2 pass PCM students.
