CONFERENCING

It is the last day of your testing. In this test all the assessors are in their uniform. This is one of the most formal task in which all the assessors will be seated in a u-shaped formation and you will be sitting in between them.

PERSONNEL INTERVIEW


In this test you will be interviewed by interviewing officer for a period of about 30min to 1 hr. in this period various questions will be asked to you and you have to give the answer to these questions.

GROUND TASKS (GT0)

GTO technique is an outdoor +indoor test in which you have to perform various task with your group. It is usually for 2 days, but in some boards (in AFSBs) it may be finished in one day and the one complete day can be reserved for interviews.

PSYCHOLOGY TEST

 
This is a very important test and is conducted once you have cleared the stage one testing (screening test).
This is a test of your psychology and in this your aptitude is checked with the help of the below tests.
1. TAT (Thematic Appreciation Test)
2. WAT(Word Association Test)
3. SRT(Situation Reaction Test)
4. SDT(Self-Description Test)

STAGE 1 TESTING (SCREENING TEST)

D+1 DAY is commonly known as the day of screening. This is the first round of testing and only those who have done well in stage 1 are retained for further testing.
Screening test consists of two tests
1. OIR (Officer’s intelligence rating test).
2. PPDT (Picture perception and discussion test).

PIQ (PERSONNEL INFORMATION QUESTIONAIRE FORM)

 
Filling a PIQ might seem very normal to you and you may take it lightly, but it is something which is having a direct relationship with your result.
A copy of your PIQ is sent to all the assessors assessing you. And from your PIQ form the get a direct insight into your personality and start building their view about. So you should take proper care in filling up of you PIQ form.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED IN SSB

1. Your class 10th, 12th mark sheet and passing certificate.
2. Ssb call up letter.
3. Identity card.

D-DAY (DAY OF ARRIVAL)


 
You have to reach ssb center either in evening or in morning. It is different for different entries. Once you reach in the ssb center you will have to fill up certain forms, and will have to undergo an identification as well as documentation check. After that chest number will be allotted to you.
